Affordable Housing on the Agenda—All-Candidates Meeting Draws Crowd

On October 20th, Port Elgin United Church hosted an all-candidates meeting that brought the community together to talk about affordable housing—one of the biggest issues facing our town and the whole region. Residents came out to hear from candidates and ask the tough questions about how we can make sure Port Elgin stays a place where working people and families can afford to live. It's the kind of conversation that matters, and it's good to see folks stepping up to have it. If you missed it, the good news is that housing stays on everyone's radar heading into voting season. Affordable homes keep our town strong.
