Science Takes Off: New Space Isotope Centre Launches

Good news for science lovers in our region: the Nuclear Innovation Institute, right here in nearby Saugeen Shores, just launched something pretty exciting. On September 28th, they opened the Canadian Centre for Space Isotopes in Toronto. It's a new research hub focused on how Canada can power future space missions using isotope technology. The Nuclear Innovation Institute has been doing important work in our area, and this new centre shows how local science is reaching for the stars—literally. If you're curious about space, science, or how innovation happens in our own backyard, it's worth knowing about. Pretty cool that cutting-edge research is happening so close to home.
